We just held The 2015 Second life Porn Star Awards ceremony for the actresses and
actors in Miss Emily's Studio, Naughty Pixel Production and Club E Productionsp that were in our films for 2014. The best actress is Sandy Miggins and best actor is
Zuriel Bedlam, so I thought I should share what makes them
the best in 2014 in my eyes.
I have done this post for the last 2 years so some of you may have seen most of this before, but as fast as the turn over is in SL porn most of you haven't. I know people have wondered how they can be the best actor or actress for this year and that is the reasoning for this post.
First off, I don’t believe 1 movie alone can give you the
title of best!! It needs to be a whole body of work for the actress or actor.
Not just looking good riding a pose ball for a few hours.
In 2014
Sandy was in 4 of our movies and an extra in Legs Wide Spread, which is 1 more than any other actress. Zuriel was in 1 of our movies which was not the most for an actor, but that movie was Legs Wide Spread which he was the lead actor in and in 80% of the 104 minute movie. Which meant that is 20 or so shoot dates on average of 2 hours, far exceeded the other actors in our movies.
Dependability;
many of my movies are series or very big; here today gone tomorrow doesn’t work for
recurring roles. When I cast for a series or big movie, I only look for people that have
shown they will be around. As I said before Zuriel had approximately 20 shoot dates and missed very few even when we were shooting 4 days a week. The 4 movies Sandy was in were spread over the whole year, her first in January and last in November, for Legs Wide Spread, she was a no name extra 3 or 4 "open cast" calls, meaning we just need anyone to fill the set and she came!!
Alertness; a shoot can be very boring, I don’t chat much
while filming, but that doesn’t mean you should go afk
for more than a few minutes. When I ask the
actress or actor to do something while filming I expect it done in a short
amount of time, not 15 minutes later with the whole cast waiting on them.
Experience;
In just about every pose change a males cock or a females strap-on position needs
to be adjusted to hit the hole it’s meant for. Not all of it can be done by the
actress or actor, but they should get it as close as they can without needing
to be told.
Readiness; come to the set ready to work. If you’re
supposed to wear something, have it on and ready to go. The only exception to
that is a spur of the moment, nonscheduled shoot. I’m probably not ready either
in those so getting dressed together is no big deal. But if you know we have a
shoot scheduled don’t show up with something not colored right and have us wait
while you adjust it or wait while you get dressed.
Fun; don’t come across like you would rather be doing
something else. No one wants to work with someone that just seem to hate
everything and having a miserable time
So as you can see there are many reasons Sandy and Zuriel lead in the number of my films or shoots they were in, and didn’t win “BEST”
because of how they looked on a pose ball in one movie.
