Angels

We were talking to Jasmine about 7 weeks ago and discussed her being in a film with us. The first concept that came to mind for me was since she owns the SL Porn Tube site was sex in a movie theater. The details of why we would be there and why we were having sex we would work out later I just wanted to find a high quality theater in a sim we could film in for a couple of hours.

The places we looked just weren’t suitable and the only real good theater we found was being shown as a demo, and we didn’t think the business would really care for us using it. After all they are they were trying to make money, I’m sure they would of much rather us pay the L$5,000 and buy a theater from them then have us use their demo.

Linda and I had talked about doing some sort of heaven / angel movie and with Jasmine we wanted a set and concept that we had never used before. So we found everything we needed for Angels for less than L$100 (not counting the bed we already had), we set it up and waited for Jasmine to be on the same time we were.

A couple of weeks later and we scheduled the shoot. The first try had to be postponed a week so the actual shoot took place about 4 weeks after we first talked about a film. The shoot was a breeze, Jasmine was fantastic and every bit the professional as we had expected. While I filmed, her and Linda had a nice chat, we ended the shoot about 1am SLT.

Next we needed a death scene, nothing to dramatic just a little explanation of why we were dead. We thought a car wreck would be easiest and scouted a few sims for places we could have a wrecked car. As fate would have it we were on Scooby’s set as he filmed his movie: Brothers Until The End. Without telling him we were looking for a city sim to shoot, he begins telling us about a city on a sky platform below us. We went down and checked it out, the great part was that we could Rezz the car we need and could drive it around.

We filmed the car wreck after I had done my first edit of the film, and yes Linda really did suck at driving the car. The part that we are in the car I had the sky set for midnight, when I went to edit I realized that was just too dark. So we deleted that footage and went back the next day and reshot the in car clips. In actual time the car wreck took us longer to film then the rest of the movie.

Looking for music I came across Robbie Williams “Angels”. It was the perfect song only problem was Robbie sings it too powerfully. This was heaven I wanted something soft and relaxing, so I looked for an acapella version of the song. I came across an acoustic guitar version that the guy sang beautifully, the draw back in that was his guitar drowned out his soft vocals. Finally I came across the version that we used in the movie, her soft sultry voice and the way she sang was so perfect I want to use as much of the song in the film as I could. I was so moved by the song and how she sang it I change the name of the movie from; Em & Lil go to Heaven, to Angels, 2 days before the movie was released.

We would like to make a series of the Heaven movies, just need some simple and plausible ways to kill off a few porn stars!!
