The 5th Annual 2016 Second Life Porn Star Awards

Awards Ceremony

This year’s awards ceremony will be held  1:00pm slt, Saturday, February 20 ^th, 2016 (Red Carpet starts at 12 noon slt) at our venue built just for these awards!!

Emily, Zoey and Erin will host this black tie / evening gown event (yes we’re telling you to dress up for once instead of Woo.. Get Naked!). The Golden Cocks will be awarded at this time for the 14 categories. Please be prompt so you can get your pictures take on the red carpet and we can get started as soon as possible. Everyone is invited whether you’re nominated, in our Studio groups or just want to see what happens and have a good time.

Not everyone will be pleased with the outcome of the awards, but keep in mind this is in no way intended to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings; it is to acknowledge the accomplishment of the 76 actresses and actors that took part in the 27 films & webisodes produced by Miss Emily’s Studio, Naughty pixel Productions and Club E Productions in 2015.

Some may find this whole thing idiotic, but I see no harm in acknowledge the work of these fine actresses and actors. This is Second Life, so have fun.

The Second Life Porn Star Awards (Golden Cocks) have come along ways in 5 years!! Liltxsmile and I started these awards because we knew would could never win a Sexiest Award, yet we wanted to acknowledge The fine actresses and actors we had worked with in 26 movies that year!! It was a way to give pats on the back but at the same time not to be take seriously enough to offend anyone. Unfortunately some people were offended and this put in motion a chain of event that has made SL Porn what it is today (for better or worse).

Infact we took ourselfs so unseriously that we didn't even host an awards ceremony, we didn't think anyone would come if we did!! So instead we announced the winners on this blog, took some goofy pictures of what we did with awards and dropped them in mail boxes.

The second year Zoey and I could tell the awards were being taken a bit more seriously, that year I released 47 movies and we held an awards ceremony in our office. We again weren't sure if anyone would show up so we were pleasantly surprised when 15 to 20 people did!!

The third year, due to the response we received we built a venue just for the awards and the party that followed. Again we were pleasantly surprised when 30-40 people attended and the after party was one of my favorites!!

In 2014 because  Legs Wide Spread took 10 months to make, I only did 7 movies for the year. Also Zoey and Erin made 7 movies each of their own, we decided to make it a combined party.

This year, the judging was done differently than the years past. In the past it was whoever was in the most movies became the best actor & actress, second most became supporting actor & actress. Significant others weren't allowed to be nominated and it was more by the numbers.

This year that went out the window, and it became a overly bias vote, numbers meant nothing and no one was disqualified of being nominated, my directorial counter parts overruled me 2 to 1. You know a democracy not a dictatorship and I couldn't get them to see it my way. If you think you know who will win because of how it was done in the past, you're in for a big surprise.

This year each of us selected nominees and ranked them 1 to 5 with 1 being that voters winner. If a person was on 1 list but not on others it received 6 points for not making a list, the numbers were tallied and the lowest score was the winner. A unanimous pick received 3 points and worst you could get was 17 points.
